After collaborating on the design of the “Duo-Face” watch from the Rpaige Watch Co., Richard Paige challenged Duo-Face case designer Mark Carson to come up with an unexpected watch design. The result is the Art Deco “Crash of ’29” watch, featuring a restored vintage American pocket watch movement along with newly designed and produced case, dial and hands.
Using a “12 Size” vintage American pocket watch movement makes for an impressively sized art deco masterpiece watch. Even at this size, the angled lugs and flat bottom make the watch sit snugly on even average to smaller wrists. The watch features a sapphire crystal and an exhibition back which shows off the movement’s decoration and 18,000 BPH operation.
The watch is paired with a leather strap and each watch will be sent in a zippered travel case. The warranty is 12 months and covers the watch case, crown, dial, hands and movement.
This is your chance to wear a true piece of American watch heritage as a modern wristwatch from established watch makers. Series strictly limited to 49 pieces.
